Rancho Murieta Airport -
Rancho Murieta Airport was first developed in the late 1960’s by the Pension Trust Fund of the the Operating Engineers Local 3.
In the early 80’s it was acquired by prominent Businessman Fred Anderson. Mr. Anderson soon began airport improvements which included hangar expansions, airport site improvements and infrastructure.
Presently, the airport covers 78 acres and contains an asphalt runway that measures 3,800 x 75 feet. Today the airport has approximately 85 locally based aircraft and serves the local and surrounding community for both business and recreational general aviation use. The airport offers both 100LL and Jet A fuels on a self serve basis and endeavors to offer these fuels at a substantially lower price on a continuing basis than competing airports in the greater Sacramento area.
